Room smelled of old food and staff was not friendly.
The location and the entertainment,
The staff were the rudest bunch of people we had ever met. We will never stay there again.
-The charge was double then bookings rate - which they changed after an hour of bickering. -Had a few drinks and when to get something to eat and was told "I have no tolerance for drunks" I was like: you better get out of the resort field then...
Not much. We had one excellent housekeeping- ariel. Parking and baggage was excellent.
That buffet line was ridiculous. Not alot of good choices or fresh for the price or wait. Yuk! Also we definitely asked for non smoking well in advanced. I have copd from asthma. Did not get th eright rm- and it stank. There were candy wrappers all over the floor upon checkin, the chair cushions were off. They hadnt finished clesning rm upon checkin. The whole hotel did nt smell or look fresh. You need lots of fresh flowers, deordorizers and mainly fresh paint to soak smoke out of the walls. Take out the smoking to the outside. Its what america is doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The room, hotel, and location are beautiful.
Front desk rep was not very friendly. The staff for the big game bash were not well prepared: will-call clerk was not provided change for cash transactions, food and drink options were not as advertised.
An unusual and very pleasant place. Good service in the bar and probably some of the best service we have received in Wendell's, the restaurant with excellent food as a bonus. Outstanding value for money.
Check in could be faster, but I am only nitpicking.
The scenery and lake were very nice.
The world buffet food was not very good.
Willie Nelson concert was wonderful! Setting is stunning. My sister and I wanted a peaceful getaway, and this was it. Wendell's Restaurant was excellent .
Booked.net did not make clear enough our need for a non-smoking room. The staff resolved it satisfactorily.
Our room was spacious and very quiet. The bed was top quality and very comfortable. There were a lot of mirrors and electrical outlets, which many hotels do not have - it makes it a lot easier when several people are trying to dress (plus good lighting everywhere).
We did not like the fact that there was no mini refrigerator, which most hotels provide now.
I had to wait on someone to park my vehicle. Once inside I waited to check- in. A lady was off to the side talking to other people, but no one came to check me in. She didn't acknowledge that I was there. I had to call the Inn on my cell phone to get someone to check me in. The television remote did not work in the room The top of the coffee container was broke and was from some other container. The counter in the bar was dirty. Take some lessons from the Sandia. Don't take any lessons from the Hard Rock Resort. I travel alot for my business. Your resort needs some polish and employee training. I felt that your motto must be the customer comes second......I Would not recommend Inn of the Mtn Gods until some things change.
My experience was great.
They should let their customers know about the $25 extra fee that would be placed on their card, just so they know.
